Cleansing Skin Care - Bad Products and How to Avoid Them
am discovering that people are not getting enough out of the products that they are using, because they don’t have a full understanding about what must go into these products in order for them to be effective as cleansing skin care agents. People simply don’t for the most part realize that maximally effective skin cleansing is the most important part of their skin care routine.
The vast majority of people out there don’t seem to grasp the importance of the ingredients in their cleansing skin care products. To many of these people facial soap is facial soap with no really definable difference between them, but nothing could be further from the truth. Most of the products that have been developed for this purpose simply don’t have the ingredients in them that you need.
Most skin cleansing products that are on the market today are actually bad for your skin, and should therefore be avoided. Many of them contain harsh abrasives that are intended to enhance the exfoliation process, and deeply cleanse your skin. These abrasive materials tend to do your skin more harm to your skin than they do good, and will often leave your skin red, raw, and irritated.
The majority of these cleansing skin care products also contain a large number of chemical additives, and preservatives which are dangerous for you to put on your skin. Most of these chemicals are simple allergens, but there are many that are known to increase your risk of developing cancer even through low levels of exposure.
What you need in order to make your skin cleansing routine effective are products which contain safe, effective, all natural ingredients.  Natural products should never contain items such as crushed peach pits or crushed anything, because once again these are damaging abrasives even though they are natural. You want ingredients in your products that will act to soothe your skin and ease inflammation such as allantoin, which is a natural compound that is found in some herbs.
Your cleansing skin care products should also include natural ingredients that are high in antioxidant properties so that they can aid the skin by eliminating the damaging free radicals formed through your exposure to UV radiation over the years. These would include ingredients such as macadamia oil, and active New Zealand Manuka honey.
The most important ingredient that your skin cleansing product should contain is an extract from special clay that comes from the foothills of the Southern Alps called kaolin. This substance absorbs oil, and gently pulls out grime from deep within your skin. It also contains mildly drying and disinfectant properties which help to heal blemishes, and inflammation.
With ingredients such as these in your cleansing skin care products you will be treating your skin to a deep down clean that you have never experienced through any other product that you have ever tried. These ingredients can even be found in a deep cleansing mask you can use every other week to give your skin an even deeper cleansing.
